Rope Access Window Cleaning
We have dedicated rope access window cleaning teams working throughout the UK.
Why do we need rope access window cleaning teams?
Many buildings are either too high for the windows to be cleaned using water-fed pole, or there are intricacies to the building’s architecture that mean cleaning windows from the ground is impossible.
Abseiling, or rope access, uses a two-rope, fail-to-safe method of working and boasts an impressive safety record. It is a cost-effective way of accessing otherwise hard-to-reach areas and eliminates the need for installing disruptive and expensive equipment. The versatility of the technique means our teams can gain access to the required areas quickly and easily, with minimal impact on the day-to-day operation of your business.
All our technicians are trained to level 3 by the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) and hold current IRATA licenses. Originally formed in the 1980’s to solve maintenance challenges in the offshore oil and gas industry, IRATA is the only truly global Association in its sector and is recognised as the leading benchmark of safety and skill for in the industry. Some iconic buildings that have featured IRATA licensed workers include Big Ben’s tower, the Spinnaker Tower, the O2 Arena, the Millennium Stadium, the Forth Rail Bridge, and Canterbury Cathedral.
Level 3 means each technician:
- Already holds a Level 2 qualification + 1000 hours rope experience
- Is capable of site supervision for rope access works projects
- Has extensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
… and much more besides!
